Become a leader of your peers through classes, hands on labs, and field training. Here you’ll develop your leadership by learning the theory behind it and then putting what you’ve learned into practice in actual leadership positions and situations.
Physical Fitness
We serve as a resource for the education and training necessary to optimize the physical/mental development of our Cadets. While at the Bruin Battalion, you will learn to develop a healthy diet while participating in challenging military focused physical activities.
Tactical Expertise
Plan, prepare, and execute operations in urban and rural terrain with the support of trained professionals. Culminating in a capstone force on force exercise using simulated munitions.
State and Federal Assets
Gain an understanding of local military assets both state and federal as you partner with the US Army National Guard and US Army Reserve units from the greater Los Angeles area. Familiarize yourself with the equipment that the units use and the missions that they conduct.
Teambuilding Opportunities
Build camaraderie with your team. Learn to trust yourself, and your teammates to overcome life’s challenges, all while participating in one of the best leadership courses in the country.
University Support
Enjoy the many benefits of being a member of the Bruin Battalion at the University of California Los Angeles. To include providing support at UCLA football home games as well as other sports at the university.
