Jaime Oliveros
Mr. Jaime Oliveros is a SoCal native, from the Northeast San Fernando Valley. Graduated from San Fernando High School and served 20 years in the U.S. Army.
As an infantryman, served in all Soldier positions, including First Sergeant, and was instrumental in the founding of the Jungle Operations Training Course (JOTC) at Schofield Barracks, Hawaii. He has completed the Jungle Operations Survival Course and Jungle Warfare School, and has trained with the Cambodian, Thai, and Philippine armies in jungle operations.
He has a total of 44 months of deployment time for NATO, peacekeeping, and other associated operations. He has been stationed at Fort Riley, KS; Schofield Barracks, HI; Fort Sill, OK; and Marion Military Institute in AL. His awards include the Bronze Star, the Meritorious Service Medal, and the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal, to name a few.
Mr. Oliveros has been working with Cadet Command for the last nine years and four years as a recruiter for the Army ROTC programs. He is extremely passionate about helping students and families learn more about the opportunities available through military service.
