Master Sergeant Shawn Moehnke

Master Sergeant Shawn T. Moehnke is from Fort Dodge, IA and graduated from St. Edmond High School in 2000.

MSG Moehnke has been on Active Duty since January 2004. In the last 19 years of service he has held many positions as an Infantry Fighting Vehicle (Bradley) driver, Team Leader, Squad Leader, Company Bradley Master Gunner, Platoon Sergeant, Company First Sergeant, and HHC First Sergeant.

He has 3 Combat Tours to Iraq and a rotation to Kuwait and South Korea. MSG Moehnke has also spent time as a Drill Sergeant at Fort Benning, GA in 2-58 IN and as an OC/T in Fort Polk, LA.

MSG Moehnke is married with 2 children, his hobbies include hiking, mountain biking, snowboarding, fishing, kayaking, and spending time with his family.
