Captain Eric Aldred


Captain Eric Aldred was born and raised in Portland, OR and attended Portland State University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Project Management. After graduating in 2009, Captain Aldred enlisted as a combat medic before being selected for active duty Officer Candidate School (OCS), where he commissioned as an Engineer officer in 2013. In his 10 years of active duty service, Captain Aldred has served in units all throughout the US, and completed multiple overseas combat tours and stateside deployments in support of disaster relief efforts. Captain Aldred received his Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in 2017, and prior to his position at UCLA, he commanded an Engineer Support Company stationed at Fort Campbell, KY.
