MAJ Lindsey Trombley


MAJ Lindsey Trombley was born in New Britain, Connecticut and raised in Blythewood, South Carolina.

MAJ Trombley proudly took the oath as a second lieutenant in the Military Police Corps in May of 2011 after graduation from Presbyterian College. She attended the Military Police Basic Officer Leadership Course, where she earned a spot on the Commandants list. Upon completion of BOLC, she was assigned as a Platoon Leader and later Executive Officer for the 66th Military Police Company, 504th Military Police Battalion, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, WA. In 2013 she deployed to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba in support of OPERATION ENDURING FREEDOM. Upon redeployment, MAJ Trombley was selected to for the Woman’s All Army Softball Team where she earned a silver medal at the Armed Forces Championship. MAJ Trombley was then selected to play on the All-Armed Forces team where she won a silver medal in the ASA National Championship. Upon completion of the Military Police Captains Career Course, MAJ Trombley was assigned as the Brigade Provost Marshal for 2nd Brigade Combat Team, First Armored Division, Fort Bliss, TX. MAJ Trombley was assigned as the Company Commander for the 978th Military Police Company, 93D Military Police Battalion, 89th Military Police Brigade, Fort Bliss, TX from 28 April 2017 to 28 November 2018 which supported both OPERATION ATLANTIC RESOLVE and the INDOPACOM AOR. She was accepted to the Army’s Program Based Graduate Incentives Program where she attended the University of South Florida and was selected to attend CGSC. Upon CGSC graduation, MAJ Trombley was assigned to Fort Drum, NY where she served as the 10th Mountain Division Deputy Protection Officer, the USAG DES Operations Officer, the 91st Military Police Battalion S3, and Executive Officer.

MAJ Trombley possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology from Presbyterian College, a Master of Arts in Business and Organizational Security Management from Webster University, a Master in Business Administration from the University of South Florida, and a Master in Operational Studies from the Command and Staff General College. MAJ Trombley’s Military education includes the Law Enforcement Senior Leaders Course, Strategic Studies Graduate, CGSC, Military Police Captain’s Career Course (Commandant’s List), Military Police Basic Officer Leader course (Commandant’s List), OPSEC level II course, Conventional Physical Security course, Anti-Terrorism Basic and Advanced courses, Combatives Level I and II, Interservice Non-lethal Individual Weapons Instructor Course (Honor Graduate), Crisis / Hostage Negotiation, and the U.S. Army Airborne School.

MAJ Trombley’s awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal (1OLC), the Army Commendation Medal (2 OLC), the Army Achievement Medal (3 OLC), the Meritorious Unit Citation (1 OLC), the Military Outstanding Volunteer Service Medal (1OLC), the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Korea Defense Service Medal, the Overseas Service Ribbon, the Army Service Ribbon, the Parachutist Badge, the Order of the Marechaussee (Bronze), and the German Armed Forces Proficiency Badge in Gold.
