Mr. Anthony Tavantzis


Mr. Anthony Tavantzis is from Newport Beach, CA and is a graduate from the University of California, Irvine where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Criminology Law and Society.

Mr. Tavantzis currently serves in the California National Guard. He commissioned out of the UCI Army ROTC program in June 2014, and later attended Quartermaster Officer Basic Leadership Course at Fort Lee, Virginia.

Upon completion of the basic course, Mr. Tavantzis was assigned to the Forward Support Company (FSC) Hotel Company, 1-181 Brigade Support Battalion (BSB) to support the 1-185 Combined Arms Battalion (CAB). From 2014-2018, Mr. Tavantzis served as Maintenance Control Officer, Distribution Platoon Leader, Executive Officer, Battalion S4, and Assistant Battalion S3. With time as an active duty officer at both Fort Irwin and Joint Base Lewis-McChord in support of the 1-185.

Mr. Tavantzis then returned to Fort Lee to attend Logistics Captains Career Course before returning to California to serve as a Brigade Plans Officer for the 224 Sustainment Brigade. He joined the 746 CSSB as the Battalion S4 completing a deployment to Poland in support of NATO operations.
